Hi everyone!

Welcome to my blog, where I write book reviews and at the beginning of every month I have a page called “Author of the Month”. This is where I write about an author I am particularly enjoying and very kindly the authors have answered some questions.

A bit about me…

My name is Laura and I am 23 years old. I live in North Wales in the lovely countryside with my mum, dad and my playful and very cute Labrador dog Belle.

If you may have guessed by now, I love to read and share my thoughts and opinions with you about the particular books I have been reading.

I wouldn’t say I have always been a bookworm or an avid reader, I mean I always read as a young child and I did enjoy reading books but not as much as I do now and I have just found a true love for books and reading.

About two years ago I was diagnosed with a seizure disorder and Generalised Anxiety Disorder, which changed my life and I found myself spending a lot of time staying at home. So as you can imagine I found it quite difficult to find a hobby that I enjoyed and could enjoy from home, that is where I fell in love with reading and how this blog was born.

I love reading Chic Lit, romance, historical (especially books based around the First and Second World Wars), Real life stories, some fantasy and of course the classics.

Some of my favourite authors are JK Rowling, Giovanna Fletcher, Miranda Dickinson, Lindsey Kelk just to name a few.

Since I created the blog I have also come across some new authors such Christie Barlow, Marcie Steele, Mandy Baggot and Holly Martin again just to name a few.

On that note I hope this has helped you to get to know me a little better.

Hope you enjoy my blog!

Happy reading 🙂

Laura xx
